Dr. Anil K. Dubey, Ph.D., HCLD

Anil K Dubey, PhD HCLD is an off site laboratory Director of GREFI. Prior to this Dr Dubey was a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the IVF Labs (1997-2013)at the George Washington University, School of Medicine and Health Sciences, USA. Dr Dubey was also Associate Professor and Director of the IVF Lab at the New England Medical Center, Tufts University, Boston, USA (1992-1997). He is a certified high-complexity clinical laboratory director (HCLD) by the American Association of Bioanalysts (ABB), a requirement for the IVF lab director. He has been working in the field of medical assisted reproduction and IVF for over 25 years.

Dr. Dubey received his education in India and obtained his doctorate degree from the Cancer Research Institute, University of Bombay in 1977. He completed his postdoctoral research and training at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India (1977-80), and Cambridge University, England (1980-82) and at the University of Pittsburgh, USA (1982-85). Prior to entering into the clinical field, he carried out basic science research in the area of reproductive physiology.

Dr. Dubey has trained many embryologists while establishing and supporting several IVF laboratories around the world including in India. He also serves as an IVF lab inspector in USA. For five years, he was a member of the Advisory board for the journal of Fertility and Sterility and currently on the editorial board of Journal of Reproduction and Genetics. In India, Dr. Dubey also serves as a member of Board of Management at the MGM University. Dr. Dubey has been greatly instrumental since the inception and development of the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital and the Mahatma Gandhi Medical and Technology University in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

Dr. Dubey enjoys an excellent reputation in IVF at the national and international level, authoring numerous scientific publications. He has presented research work at national and international scientific meetings. He is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), and ABB.[/staffbio]
